Understanding human perception of space is fundamental to the architect. Although plans, sections, and elevations are fundamental for the construction of a building, it is only through perceptual (and perspective) drawings that we can visualize the experience of a space. Perceptual drawings are fundamental for the understanding of architecture. The assignment asks to use drawing to analyze and document the sequence(s) of exterior public spaces found in the two buildings occupied by the School of Architecture: Brooks and Kamphoefner Hall.
